Specialized Guidance

Complex taxes need more than tax preparation.

When a situation falls outside a simple return, the pieces still have to fit together. That is where TaxFM works.

Business Advisory

Financial clarity for the business behind the return.

For select business clients, TaxFM goes beyond compliance with accounting oversight, payroll coordination, and fractional CFO advisory.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Clean, decision-ready financials with ongoing review, reconciliation, and reporting support.

Payroll Support

Payroll setup, coordination, compliance support, and owner compensation planning for closely held businesses.

Fractional CFO Advisory

Financial guidance for business owners who need insight, planning, and leadership without a full-time CFO.

Who TaxFM Serves

Focused support for situations that need a closer look.

TaxFM is especially well suited to clients whose tax picture crosses states, entities, borders, or prior filing years.

Professional Authority

A PTIN permits preparation. An EA credential proves more.

The highest credential awarded by the IRS

An Enrolled Agent is a federally credentialed tax practitioner with unlimited practice rights before the IRS. Kateryna can prepare returns and represent taxpayers in examinations, collections, and appeals nationwide.

A PTIN is not a professional credential

Every paid preparer must have a PTIN, but a PTIN alone does not show that the preparer passed a competency examination or has unlimited representation rights. EA status requires a comprehensive federal tax examination or qualifying IRS experience, suitability review, and continuing education.

Professional standards and accountability

Enrolled Agents practice under Treasury Department Circular 230, including standards for competence, diligence, tax-return positions, and client communications. The IRS Office of Professional Responsibility may investigate misconduct and impose discipline.

EA and CPA are different credentials

CPAs are licensed by state boards in the broader field of accounting, and many are excellent tax professionals. The CPA title alone, however, does not mean tax is the practitioner’s primary focus. The EA credential is federal and specifically centered on taxation and practice before the IRS.

Protection beyond filing day

TaxFM signs the returns it prepares, remains available after filing, and carries professional errors-and-omissions insurance. If a notice arrives or a filing needs review, you know who prepared the work and who can help address it.

Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA)

Kateryna is also authorized by the IRS to assist with ITIN applications and review qualifying identification documents. In eligible cases, applicants may not need to mail original documents to the IRS.

Representative Matters

The kinds of situations TaxFM is built to untangle.

These are representative examples, not client testimonials. Every engagement depends on its own facts, records, and filing history.

01

Income reported to the wrong state

Review residency, work location, and income sourcing across filing years, then identify which original or amended state returns may be needed.

02

A U.S. company with an owner abroad

Coordinate the business return with ownership disclosures, international information reporting, books, and entity compliance.

03

A return filed, but the facts do not match

Compare the filed return with source documents and filing history, identify material errors, and map the corrections worth making.
